Job Objectives

Working together with the team to ensure that all inbound and outbound
orders are checked and processed correctly in the most accurate, timely and
efficient manner adhering to Satair's procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safety & Housekeeping
  • Ensure that a clean and productive working environment is maintained at all
  • times.
  • Ensuring MHEs’ checklist updated daily by team members
  • Report to warehouse management on safety and security incidents during
  • the shift


Order Management

  • Ensure all inbound/outbound orders are executed in a timely manner within
  • the team to meet performance targets.
  • Work closely with team members and take ownership of all the open orders
  • and shipments during the shift and understand the blocking points when
  • performance targets are not met.
  • Guide the team members on system transactions and equipment.
  • Monitor closely the daily workload situation and report to the team leader for
  • resource adjustment when needed.
  • Perform system and physical goods reversal for order cancellation and
  • vendor return
  • Conduct order processing in the correct sequence based on order priority
  • Conduct order quantity changes and confirm on system.
  • To carry out stock checks when requested.
  • Ensure all DG shipments are handled according to IATA DG regulation


Process Management

  • Ensure that documented processes are followed, highlighting areas of
  • improvement/change.
  • Guide newcomers on the processes in Symbio for the day to day work
  • Support respective manager during internal and external audits on
  • processes.


Reporting

  • Report open and completed order status to respective manager
  • Report operational issues or challenges to respective HO for resolution
  • Facilitate in handing and/or taking over of shift

Secondary responsibilities

  • Assist respective manager of each function when coordinating urgent AOG
  • despatches as and when required.
  • Suggest process improvements and implement where agreed with the line
  • manager.
  • Assist to cover other areas within warehouse functions as and when
  • required.
  • To work in a back-up capacity mode as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum ITE holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates with supervisory experience will be advantageous.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Working knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
  • PC literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Knowledge of Lotus Notes tools.
  • Familiar with work-related routines under Satair’s ERP system
  • Process knowledge - experience of working in a similar environment
